Mondo, the collectible art boutique arm of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, is pleased to announce the first ever “Director’s Series” from visionary director Guillermo del Toro. Mondo has worked with the celebrated filmmaker to craft unique artistic interpretations of the Hellboy films, Blade 2, The Devil’s Backbone, Cronos & Pan’s Labryrinth from world famous artists.

Guillermo del Toro said, “it is a rare privilege to be included in this mind-blowing poster series. These images enshrine and preserve the energy of the films they depict in a way that no square marketing could!!! More power to them!!!"

Guillermo del Toro is a filmmaker whose passion for horror, fantasy and science fiction is as boundless today as it was when he began his incredible career. His respect and deep knowledge of genre films contribute to an impressive filmography that ranges from horror high art to grand scale popcorn entertainment, many times straddling both simultaneously. “Whether producing or directing, the Alamo Drafthouse & Mondo look forward to each Guillermo del Toro film as the name carries that rare seal of quality. We are deeply honored to have him be a part of our first Director’s Series,” said Mondo Creative Director, Justin Ishmael.

Alamo Drafthouse & Mondo celebrate the very best of classic, cult and contemporary films with stunning works of art, printed on high quality, hand numbered screen prints. Their licensed poster series for Star Wars and Star Trek have become some of the most popular collectibles for film and pop culture connoisseurs.
